I'm obviously not the first person to make the point that most voters are not rich WASPS, but every time it comes up I am completely baffled.
In the 2012 election, the Democrats won nearly every demographic. The few exceptions are white people, rich people and men. It seems that the stereotype continues to ring true. GOP candidates win with rich white people.
At some point I suppose, they will put it all together and realize that there are more people in America than rich white people.
